The inn is located on the shore of a lake, which is covered with splashing waves on windy days. The name "RERA" (which means "wind" in Ainu) comes from the fact that nothing stands in the way of the inn and strong winds blow against it. The view from the bedroom windows and the indoor bath windows could not be more beautiful. RERA's own boat can be taken directly to the lake from just outside the inn, and fishing and other activities can be enjoyed at any time of the year when the lake is not frozen over.

FURE (meaning "red" in Ainu), named after the place Akayu, is a two-story inn with two bedrooms and a Japanese-style room space. With a sandy beach in front of the house, guests can go fishing on FURE's private boat anytime from spring to fall, and in winter, they can play in the snow on mountain skis or snowshoes. While soaking in the 24-hour hot spring, guests can enjoy the magnificent view of the lake from the front window and the marshy meadows from the north window.

そんな弟子屈の満天の星とWAKKANUPURIの贅沢なお食事をお楽しみいただける「星降るレストランプラン」をご用意いたしました。
こちらは9月1日以降のご予約が対象です。
ご予約の際に「星降るレストランプラン希望」と記載をお願いいたします。

Teshikaga Town in Hokkaido, where our hotel is located, has an extremely high “starry sky index,” which measures whether the town is suitable for astronomical observation, and is garnering attention for the beautiful starry skies that can be viewed.

We have prepared a “Starry Restaurant Plan” that allows you to enjoy Teshikaga’s star-filled sky along with a luxurious meal at WAKKANUPURI.
This is available for reservations made after September 1st.
Please write “I would like the starry restaurant plan” when making your reservation.

About the Wakkanupuri Group

We run inns limited to one group per day on the shores of Lake Kussharo in Eastern Hokkaido.
From spring to autumn, the sounds of birds and wildlife echo around the inn, and you can enjoy trekking and bold fishing for native trout. In winter, when the world is white, the days are over minus 20 degrees Celsius and the lake begins to freeze, the inn is a time of silence.

In the spring when the ice that covered the lake melts, the vegetation sprouts all at once, and the animals rush out of the forest with a joyful voice. In the summer, cherry salmon climb the waterfall, and in the fall, the fiery autumn leaves are projected on the lake. In winter, the most beautiful season, you can see whooper swans resting on the shores of the lake from distant Siberia and red foxes walking over the frozen lake.
